Gift for friend
She's a wonderful and tallented traditional artist who is venturing around digital art.
This is basic brush settings.
You can apply the same settings to the default Round Brushes.
Many pictures to help Photoshop newbies.
Works just like traditional watercolouring.
Start from basic, light and non-detailed base.
Then gradually add a darker colour and detail lines. This will be covered in the NEXT watercolour in P.S. tutorial.
I tried it out and must say it's great. My tip to people who use it is to adjust the brush's opacity levels, diameter and Other Dinamics levels Also different textures = different brushes. Some are softer and others are sharper depending on the texture.
Ohhh, you're amazing! My Corel Painter decided it was going to flip out every time I plugged in my tablet (I think it needs reinstalled...) and I want to try some digital watercolor because I like real watercolors. This helps! Thanks.
GIANT RESPECT for this my friend I was trying to find a good way to mimic watercolour in PS for 6 months now and I didnt even got close to your effect. It was really pain in the ass for me, and you relived me from it GOD bless you god man.
I made my drawing, Ocean Romance, with watercolor-brushes in Photoshop CS3. I didn't change the paper though, only the brushes, and then worked with both multiply, normal and color. But couldn't have made it without this tutorial
